The Ziklag Principle

In 1 Samuel 30, the Amalekites attacked David and his men and took away all their possessions and families. God instructed David to pursue them and recover all that had been taken. Some men stayed by the supplies because they were so weary they could not go on with David. When David returned with the bounty, he made an ordinance in Israel that stands to this day: “those who stay by the supplies will share equally with those who go down to battle.” This is what we call the Ziklag Principle.

While you may not be able to go to the places or see the faces, fight the battles or hear the victory cry, when you enable us to have the necessary resources to go, you receive an equal reward!
